Are you feeling overwhelmed with your sales goals?
Perhaps you have a sales system in place but it’s disorganized or maybe you do have a system but it’s still all up in your head?
When it comes to creating a system for sales it’s easy to get confused about what’s actually supposed to be in the system or if you’re packing too much stuff into it and it seems like there must be a better way to organize. Both ways lead to a disorganized and complicated system! And when you are trying to get your team on board with your new system, it can be confusing for both you when it doesn’t flow well.
In a sales system there are so many moving parts, it helps to understand that we can’t just use one system (or plan) to get repeatable sales results. We actually have 3 systems that are working together.
Spa Sales System #1 – Marketing System
This includes your website, social media, posters and in-spa conversations between your clients and team. Make sure you include all of your marketing platforms and don’t get stuck on social media.
Spa Sales System #2 – Sales System
This is a step by step outline of how and at what point you want your team talking about the sales process (service protocols). Don’t forget the importance of a sales script! A script can increase your team confidence in their product knowledge which can make or break a sale.
Spa Sales System #3 – Tracking and Reporting System
The previous 2 systems are pointless if you are not tracking how well they are working. If you have a POS system you have all the information you need at your fingertips but you must know how to use it. Making sure you know what reports to pull and how to read them will give you valuable information about your sales system.
